The theatrical release of MY FRIEND THE TERRORIST: a tale of love and revolution
begins December 15, 2024 with screenings in Edmonton, Ottawa and Montreal. Others to follow.
This new feature documentary by directors Malcolm Guy and Demetri Estdelacropolis tells the deeply personal and political story of Jose Maria Sison, a revolutionary figure exiled for decades, and his enduring love for both his country and his wife, Julieta de Lima.
The film offers an unparalleled glimpse into the life of a man deemed a ‘terrorist’ by many authorities and celebrated as a hero by others.
