CALLSHOP ISTANBUL, theatrical release!

Just back from successful screenings at Hot Docs and from winning two prestigious awards at FIDADOC, in Agadir, Morocco, Callshop Istanbul  is now out to conquer audiences in Montreal !

First screened in this city during the Montreal International Documentary Festival (RIDM) last November, Callshop Istanbul will be released in three cinemas in Montreal starting May 20, 2016.

The cinema run will be preceded May 19th with a special benefit preview organized by Multi-Monde in collaboration with Amnesty international and the Cinémathèque québécoise. Box office earnings from the May 19 event will be donated to Amnesty’s campaign to support Syrian refugees. Show time is 7:00 pm at the Cinémathèque québécoise.

Callshop Istanbul will be presented at two cinemas during the week of May 20-26. The Cinémathèque québécoise will present French subtitled version, (show time 7 pm) and the Dollar Cinema will present the film with English subtitles (show time 8:30). On May 26, this documentary by Hind Benchekroun and Sami Mermer will also be screened at Cinéma Station Vu.
