You’re invited!See the online activity below for Feb. 22:Laying the Foundation, Marching Forward: Celebrating the 86th birthday of Jose Maria Sison, and his life and worksThe Jose Maria Sison Legacy Foundation (JMSLF) is officially launching in February, to coincide with Jose Maria Sison’s birthday month. To formally introduce the Foundation to the public, we will be holding a series of events that we warmly welcome you to attend.In-person activity: When: Saturday, February 15, 2025What time: 13:00 (doors open) / 14:00-16:00 (program)Where: Huis van Vrede (House of Peace), Trumanlaan 70-72, 3527 BR Utrecht, The NetherlandsInfo: Snacks and beverages will be served. Books and merchandise will be available for sale. Donations are welcome. We will have a program of information and cultural performances to show the work of the foundation so far and give a sneak peek to our upcoming plans. The program will be recorded. At the event we will: Unveil the refreshed Jose Maria Sison website!Walk through the mini-exhibits mounted by the Foundation museum!Announce future plans for the museum’s permanent exhibit on JMS’ life!Share historical materials from the Jose Maria Sison library and archives!Present creative performances based on JMS’ work!Answer your questions for the Foundation and its volunteers!Show you how you can contribute to and support the Foundation’s work! Online activities: For those in other regions who can’t attend in-person, we will be streaming the recording of the event during two online sessions, each with their own question and answer period so that international audiences can learn more about and engage with the Foundation and its volunteers.
